 Do you remember your first makeup item?

My first ever makeup Item other than the typical chapstick was either lip gloss or eyeliner. But I don’t remember the brands they were.

Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?

My perfect mascara is one that gives me so much length and volume. I have yet to find just one that does that for me. I have to use 2 in order to get the results that I want.

What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?

I prefer a medium coverage. It gives me the coverage I want without it being too heavy on my skin. I can also build it up as well to get more coverage if needed.

Favorite high end brand?

My favorite high end brand would have to be either too Faced or Urban Decay.

What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?

the brands that I have always wanted to try but still haven’t gotten the chance to is Hourglass and Makeup Geek.

Favorite drugstore brand?

My favorite drugstore brand would have to be either L’Oreal or Maybelline.

Do you wear fake eyelashes?

Nope. It’s no really my thing.

Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?

For me it’s either full face or none at all.

What is your most cherished beauty product?

This is a hard one. I really don’t know.

How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?

I shop as often as I can. I’m a makeup lover. I like to pick things up here and there. Sometimes I will get lots of goodies all at once, but that’s if I haven’t shopped for makeup in a while.

Do you have a “beauty budget” or you spend freely? 

I try to budget myself as best as I can. I also now try to really think if I’m really going to use that product and if I feel that I won’t then I won’t buy it. I really think about these things so I just don’t go out buying it just to buy it.

Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?

Yes. With coupons I tend to forget about them a lot so I use them when I can remember them.

What type of product do you buy the most of?

Highlighter and Eyeshadow are the products that I buy the most of.

Is there a brand that you absolutely can’t stand?

Almay is a brand that I cannot stand, well more so that just doesn’t work for me. Everything that I have gotten from them has been complete crap. Their foundation products always turn me into an Ooompa Loompa. They just don’t have great pigmentation. Now if you are someone who likes this brand then by all means keep liking them. This is just my opinion and my experience with the brand.

Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?

I probably should but I don’t.

Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?

Ulta and Sephora are my favorite places to shop for makeup. I get sucked in every time though.

Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?

I like to try new skincare products, but I also try not to really mess with a routine that works for me too much. I don’t want to throw my skin off too much or too bad.

Favorite bath and body brand?

My favorite bath and body brand is Tree Hut and St.Ives.

If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?

This is hard… If I could only buy from one brand it would have to be Too Faced.

What brand do you think has the best packaging?

The brand that has the best packaging would probably have to be Nars. It’s sleek and simple and I love the velvety soft feel of their packaging.

Which celebrity always has great makeup?

The celebrity that always has the best makeup would have to be Madison Pettis. Her hair and makeup are always slaying the game.

Do you belong to any online makeup communities?

Nope, I sure don’t. Unless you count Influesnter as one.

Casey Holmes, Tati, Megan Leigh, Jessica Braun, Kandee Johnson, and Jaclyn Hill. I know that was 6 people, but I just cannot narrow it down any further than 6.

Do you like multi-functional products like lip and cheek stains?

I feel that almost many makeup product is multi-functional. But when it comes to stains I tend to stay away from those as they really aren’t my thing.

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Not really. I like to take my time with putting on my makeup so i don’t end up looking like an idiot. I’m not one that can just slap on some makeup and it look good.

Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?

Yes. Ever since I have found one that really works for me I always have to use it. I have oily eyelids, so the one that has worked the best for me is the Ulta Matte eye primer. It not only keeps my eyelids matte, it also doesn’t make my eyeshadow crease and holds onto the eyeshadow very well throughout the day.

How many hair products do you use on a typical day?

Depending on what I do with my hair after I wash it depends on what products I use throughout the week.

What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?

I apply my foundation then concealer.

Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?

I have thought about it but never done it. I have already learned so much from YouTube alone and I’m confident in my skills. Plus I’m only doing makeup on myself anyways. Now if I were to ever do freelance makeup or something of the sort where I would be applying makeup to other people then I would take some classes.

What do you love about makeup?

I love how free you can be with makeup and how you can express yourself with it. It’s creative and fun.
